Calendula in cosmetics and skin care

Among medicinal herbs and flowers, calendula is one of the most effective "Skin healer" in natural cosmetics. It strengthens the tissue and is therefore used for wound healing and skin diseases. Calendula is intensively nourishing and can repair rough, cracked areas. It promotes and improves wound healing and supports the regeneration of skin tissue. For eczema, impure skin, pimples or warts, an ointment or cream made from calendula is an effective aid.

Calendula oil helps with acute sunburn due to its healing and antibacterial properties. Calendula extract can also reduce spider veins, varicose veins and other unwanted skin conditions. Calendula balm and oil are also popular in baby care as they are protective, healing and regenerating. Calendula cream or ointment has anti-inflammatory, decongestant and analgesic effects and increases blood circulation when applied topically. Calendula has a strong antioxidant effect that protects the human organ system from cell-damaging attackers and pathogens.
